Best Presentation Prize, Sponsored by Bentley Systems
Sponsored by Bentley Systems, the prize of 500 Euros is awarded to the conference presentation with the highest number of votes that is not eligible for the Ivan Petrovich Prize. In addition to the first place prize, in 2011 there were also two runners up prizes of 250 Euros sponsored by eCAADe.
2018 Winner, eCAADe Lodz, Poland: This year’s winner of the Best Presentation Prize, sponsored by Bentley Systems: Adam Tamas Kovacs with his paper, co-authored by András Micsik: Building Information Dashboard as Decision Support During Design Phase.
2017 Prize Winner, eCAADe Rome, Italy: This year’s winner of the Best Presentation Prize were Jeremy Ham and Uwe Wössner with the paper co-authored with Joachim Kieferle, Exploring the Three Dimensional Spatiality of Polyrhytmic Drum Improvisation.
2016 Prize Winner, eCAADe Oulu, Finland: This year’s winner of the Best Presentation Prize was Yuliya Baranovskaya with the paper co-authored with Marshall Prado, Moritz Dörstelmann & Achim Menges, Knitflatable Architecture.
2015 Prize Winner, eCAADe Vienna, Austria: This year’s winner of the Best Presentation Prize was Slawomir Kowal with the paper co-authored with Krzysztof,Koszewski, Jan Slyk and Stefan Wrona, Parametric Methods in Reconstruction of the Medieval Proto-Town in Pultusk, Poland.
2014 Prize Winner, eCAADe Newcastle, United Kingdom: This year’s winner of the Best Presentation Prize was Reinhard König with his paper Evolutionary multi-criteria optimization for building layout planning Exemplary application based on the PSSA framework.
2013 Prize Winner, eCAADe Delft, Netherlands: This year’s winner of the Best Presentation Prize was Tuba Kocaturk with the paper Co- Authored with Arto Kiviniemi Challenges of Integrating BIM in Architectural Education.
2012 Prize-winners, eCAADe Prague, Czech Republic: This years winner of the Best Presentation Prize was Sergio Arayawith the paper Living Architecture: Micro Performances of Bio Fabrication.
2011 Prize-winners, eCAADe Ljubljana, Slovenia: This years winner of the Best Presentation Prize was Mark Weston with the paper Anisotropic Operations: A study in directed material weakening for solar shading.
Runners up were Antonio Leitao with his paper Programming Languages for Generative design: Visual or Textual? and Sean Ahlquist with the paper Methodological Approach for the Integration of Material Information and Performance in the Design Computation for Tension-Active Architectural Systems.
