To further the general aims of the promotion of exchange and collaboration, eCAADe sets out to:
- create an international information network about CAAD activities;
- promote the exchange of staff and students between schools that undertake research and teaching in CAAD;
- foster the creation of closer relations between education, research and practice;
- establish contact with governmental, international and professional organisations and agencies.
The organisation has an annual conference and an annual workshop, which are hosted by different Universities each year.
The Organisation has an Administrative Council that is charged with ensuring that the organisation operates effectively and maintains its efforts to meet the aims of the organisation, mentioned above, as efficiently as possible. The Administrative Council has a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and members charged with specific tasks. The Administrative Council meets formally twice a year.
